King Charles III sent a personal letter to Donald Trump after the former president survived an assassination attempt Saturday.

The reigning British monarch wrote a private note to the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Buckingham Palace confirmed to the BBC in an article published Monday.

While the exact contents of Charles’ correspondence remain unknown, the outlet reported that the sentiments are “in keeping with those communicated by the prime minister over the weekend.”

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer had expressed that he was “appalled” by the attack and wished Trump and those injured a speedy recovery.

The royal family has shown Trump kindness in the past. In 2019, then-Prince Charles hosted the then-president and his wife, Melania Trump, for tea at Clarence House. The former POTUS, 78, was wounded by a sniper Saturday afternoon while speaking during an outdoor campaign rally in Butler, Pa.

His ear was seen covered in blood before he ducked and took cover and was eventually rushed to safety by Secret Service agents.

“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” he wrote.

“Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”

While Trump survived the assassination attempt by less than an inch thanks to a lucky turn of the head, firefighter Corey Comperatore was killed while caught in the line of fire. Additionally, two other rally-goers were wounded.

The “Apprentice” alum’s family members expressed their gratitude after he was declared safe by medics.

“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, and [our son] Barron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change. I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband,” Melania, 54, said in a statement.“I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” Trump said of the incident. “Toughest man I have ever met,” Eric Trump told Page Six exclusively of his father.

“Thank you for your love and prayers for my father and for the other victims of today’s senseless violence in Butler, Pennsylvania,” daughter Ivanka Trump wrote on Instagram. “I am grateful to the Secret Service and all the other law enforcement officers for their quick and decisive actions today. I continue to pray for our country.”
