After CIA Director Posts Disturbing Message – Leading Republican Takes Immediate Action
[ad_1]
Republican Sen. Tommy Tuberville has played a key role in obstructing the Biden administration. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, he has blocked bulk confirmations for hundreds of officers.
The senator has done this to protest a policy whereby the Pentagon pays troops to travel across state lines to acquire abortions. Tuberville’s actions have rankled Democrats in Congress, as well as many users online.
One such user asked if Tommy Tuberville should “be removed from his committee”? The X user appeared to want a response from her users, asking “Yes or No?” Former CIA Director Michael Hayden reposted the question, but what he added shocked many.
From The Post Millennial:
On Monday, former CIA Director Michael Hayden appeared to call for the assassination of Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) for blocking military confirmations…The retired US intelligence official made the statement in response to a user on X who asked if Tuberville should be “removed from his committee.”
Hayden answered, “How about the human race?”

Michael Hayden, former director of the CIA, commented on a tweet discussing Republican Tommy Tuberville. The original poster asked if the senator should be “removed from his committee.” Hayden responded, “How about the human race?”
Users quickly accused Hayden of suggesting the Alabama lawmaker be “removed” from the human race. Hayden had previously criticized the senator. In 2022, he posted “Tommy Tuberville is an idiot!” linking to a clip of the senator.
Last month, Hayden accused Tuberville of being a “racist.”
In response to the recent post by Hayden, Sen. Tuberville quickly contacted the authorities.
From Fox News:
Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., alerted Capitol Police on Tuesday to what he called a “politically motivated assassination” from former CIA and NSA Director Gen. Michael Hayden, with expectations the police will protect congressional members and bring “criminals to justice.”
Sen. Tuberville contacted Capitol Police over the post by Hayden. He accused the former official of calling for a “politically motivated assassination” against him. Capitol Police are charged with the protection of members of Congress.
It is unclear whether the police force will investigate Hayden’s comments. The former official claimed he meant that the senator is not “a member of the human race.” He said he stands “by the view.”
Comments by notable officials could be viewed as calls to action by unstable individuals. Hayden was not apologetic about what he posted. Nor has he, by the time of this writing, deleted the original tweet.
