House Crushes Biden in Historic 424-1 Vote – This Will Stop 1 Ridiculous White House Move

Sharing is caring!

Joe Biden’s willingness to use his office to bow down to leftist ideals got hit with another hard wake-up call this week. Hundreds of Democrat representatives joined with Republicans in the U.S. House to tell bumbling Joe to stop meddling with American values in schools.

Biden’s administration has taken advantage of the 2022 Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) to strip federal funding to schools with hunting and archery programs. Biden’s Education Department said the hunter education and wilderness safety courses use “technically dangerous weapons.”

Biden should have taken a poll before letting his leftist minions run wild with the BSCA. Now he faces an almost unanimous resolution to strip away the Education Department’s heavy-handed edict against teaching children strong American values.

From Fox News:
In a 424-1 vote, the House approved the Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act with 216 Republicans and 208 Democrats voting in favor, and just one lawmaker, Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-Texas, voting against.

That is a total smackdown of the man working to eliminate as much of the American heritage as he can before his term ends. Rep. Mark Green (R-TN) introduced the bill on Aug. 1 and stated that American students should be encouraged to “participate in enriching athletic activities that foster an appreciation for nature and the ability to focus on a goal.”

“Hunters and fishers are the best conservationists,” Green said. ” My Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act is critical for our children.”

Green estimated 50,000 students in Tennessee would be affected by Biden’s funding cut, not to mention many more throughout the country. Tommy Floyd, the president of the National Archery in the Schools Program, said his organization boasts roughly 1.3 million students from nearly 9,000 schools across 49 states who are enrolled in archery courses.

The DOE decision impacts elementary and secondary schools that offer hunting or archery courses. There is no valid reason for eliminating access to education that teaches culture and values long held in the United States.

This almost unanimous vote in the House to stop federal school funding cuts should be a direct message to Biden that his administration’s twisting of the BSCA will not work. The BSCA was criticized as nothing more than gun control while proponents claimed it would promote “safer, more inclusive and positive” schools.

Biden needs to educate himself that these hunting and archery course cuts deserve to be included in schools because they help children stay positive and safe.
